Questions buyers ask

Where does Supreme Universal Trading source rice from?

We source rice from India, Pakistan, Thailand and Vietnam. The origin for each contract depends on the grade, price, season and the buyer's destination.

Which markets do you supply rice to?

Our main markets for rice are Africa and the Middle East. We also review enquiries from other destinations case by case.

What specifications do you work to?

We work to the grade and parameters agreed in each contract, usually covering broken grains, moisture and average grain length. Independent inspection can confirm them at loading.

What are your trade terms and minimum quantities?

We usually trade rice on FOB, CFR and CIF terms. Minimum quantities depend on the supply format (bagged (25 kg / 50 kg), container and bulk vessel) and are confirmed when we quote.

Which documents come with each shipment?

A typical shipment includes the commercial invoice, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, independent inspection certificate and packing list. The final list depends on the contract and the destination country's import rules.
