This website is meant for businesses that buy, sell or move commodities.
What we collect
You can read every page of this website without giving us any personal data.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used: the pages you visit, roughly where you are, and your device and browser. When you send an enquiry, it also records which form you used, the commodity and the type of enquiry you chose, never your name, email address or message. If you decline, none of this is collected. Our cookie policy has the detail.
To see how fast pages load for real visitors, Vercel Speed Insights measures loading times on each visit. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.
When you send an enquiry through one of our forms, we receive what you enter: your name and company, your work email address, and the details of your enquiry (the type of enquiry, the commodity and, on a commodity page, the grade, then origin, destination, volume, trade terms and your message). We also receive the address of the page and the form you sent it from.
To protect the forms from spam, your IP address and email address are checked, in a scrambled (hashed) form, against a short-lived count of recent enquiries, and Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form was sent by a person. The website does not keep your IP address; our hosting provider's request logs may record it for a short time.
If you contact us another way, by email, phone or WhatsApp, we receive what you send us and use it in the same way as an enquiry. WhatsApp is run by WhatsApp LLC under its own privacy policy.
Why we use it
We use your enquiry only to reply to you and to discuss the trade you asked about. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
Analytics runs only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page. Speed measurements rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site fast.
We do not use your details for marketing, and we do not sell them.
Who processes it for us
- EmailJS delivers the enquiry to our trading team by email and sends you an automatic confirmation.
- Cloudflare runs Turnstile, the check that keeps automated spam out of the forms.
- Vercel hosts this website and measures page speed (Speed Insights).
- Google provides the map on the Contact page, which loads when you scroll to it.
- Google runs Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies. Google signals and advertising features are switched off.
These providers may process data outside the United Arab Emirates. Each acts on our instructions and under its own data protection terms.
How we protect it
Every page and form on this website is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiries go straight from the website to our trading team's email; the website itself does not store them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept in our business email for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep records of our trading relationships.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. Write to tausif@supremetrading.co and we will reply. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
