What we supply
Choose a product to start your enquiry.
Supreme Universal Trading supplies alfalfa, also called lucerne, as hay bales, pellets and cubes.
Alfalfa is a forage crop rich in protein and fibre, fed mainly to dairy cattle, horses, sheep and camels. Pellets and cubes are pressed from dried alfalfa, so they take less space in a container than bales.

Questions buyers ask
Which forms of alfalfa do you supply?
Hay in compressed bales, pellets and cubes. Bales suit buyers who feed long fibre; pellets and cubes are denser and easier to store and handle.
What specifications do you work to?
We work to the grade and parameters agreed in each contract, usually covering protein, fibre and moisture. Independent inspection can confirm them at loading.
What are your trade terms and minimum quantities?
We usually trade alfalfa on FOB, CFR and CIF terms, by container. Minimum quantities depend on the form and are confirmed when we quote.
Which documents come with each shipment?
A typical shipment includes the commercial invoice, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary and fumigation certificates, independent inspection certificate and packing list. The final list depends on the contract and the destination country's import rules.
